Engineers Without Borders USA addresses these global challenges by partnering directly with communities. Together, we develop solutions that involve community members throughout the engineering process, ensuring each project addresses the community's unique needs and circumstances.
Our commitment extends beyond design and construction. We establish a five-year partnership with each community, collaborate with local NGOs and community leaders to support the project's long-term sustainability, and provide training on infrastructure operation and maintenance. This approach empowers communities to become more independent, self-sufficient, and resilient.
The City College of New York Chapter
The City College of New York Chapter is a student chapter of EWB-USA, founded in 2005. Since our founding, we have worked on 8 projects in the United States and abroad in Honduras, Nicaragua, and Uganda.
